Activities at Rose Lodge Care Home
Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Hello, my name is Jane and I am the Activities Coordinator here at Rose Lodge and I have been here since 2010 .
My role is to engage and stimulate our residents by offering a range of activities for them to enjoy. I want to get everyone involved and make our home community and atmosphere as positive and welcoming as possible.
Making sure that our residents have things to do that they really enjoy doing is something that I am passionate about, It is so important to make sure that they are happy and enjoy all of the activities and events that we do with them. We enjoy creating new and special memories together.

Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies

Employee of the Month - April
Congratulations to Administrator, Beccy Wording, who was named as our Employee of the Month for April. Well done, Beccy!
Chocolate Tasting
Residents enjoyed a lovely morning of chocolate tasting, with a selection of chocolates available for them to choose from.
Clear Productions
Clear Productions joined us and residents enjoyed singing along to a variety of tunes.
Easter Raffle
Residents had a lovely afternoon sitting around with a cup of tea to see if their number would be called for the Easter raffle.
Easter Baking
Residents finished up the seasonal activities with a baking session, where they made cornflake chocolate Easter cupcakes.
Easter Hats & Cards
Leading up to Easter, residents were busy making some seasonal hats and cards for their loved ones.
