Activities at Rose Lodge Care Home
Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Hello, my name is Jane and I am the Activities Coordinator here at Rose Lodge and I have been here since 2010 .
My role is to engage and stimulate our residents by offering a range of activities for them to enjoy. I want to get everyone involved and make our home community and atmosphere as positive and welcoming as possible.
Making sure that our residents have things to do that they really enjoy doing is something that I am passionate about, It is so important to make sure that they are happy and enjoy all of the activities and events that we do with them. We enjoy creating new and special memories together.

Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Rose Lodge Care Home
Movie Magic
Residents enjoyed a morning out at the cinema to see Roman Holiday on 14th May. During the break, residents enjoyed tea, coffee, cakes and biscuits.
Employee of the Month - May
Congratulations to Annmarie Lilliott-Murr, who was named as our Employee of the Month for May. Well done!
Soaking up the Sun
Residents enjoyed the sunshine with the paddling pool out. We had a game of hook-the-duck, which was fun for everyone.
Fun in the Sun
Residents enjoyed the lovely sunshine out in the garden potting the plants and watering them recently.
15 Years of Service
Floor Sister, Loida, was thrown a surprise party and received flowers and gifts for her 15th year at Rose Lodge. Thank you very much for all your hard work!

Rose Lodge arranged a party for Nurse Loida, who has been at the home for 15 years now. Loida received flowers and gifts and Trudie provided some musical entertainment for the celebration.
