Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Head of Activities

Hello, my name is Jane and I am the Activities Coordinator here at Rose Lodge and I have been here since 2010 .

My role is to engage and stimulate our residents by offering a range of activities for them to enjoy. I want to get everyone involved and make our home community and atmosphere as positive and welcoming as possible.

Making sure that our residents have things to do that they really enjoy doing is something that I am passionate about, It is so important to make sure that they are happy and enjoy all of the activities and events that we do with them. We enjoy creating new and special memories together.

Residents enjoyed a lovely afternoon decorating their Christmas stocking cake.

Christmas Shopping

Residents enjoyed a lovely day our Christmas shopping to Dobbie's on 26th November. We finished off the trip with a bit of lunch. Our Activities Coordinator also painted a snow flake on her face.

Macmillan Coffee Morning

On Saturday 25th October, we hosted a Macmillan Cofee Morning – and what a lovely morning it was! Staff came in on their break for some tea, cakes and a chat. We also had a lovely visit from our local nursery children, who sang for the residents. In total, we managed to raise £70 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
