Activities at Rose Lodge Care Home
Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Hello, my name is Jane and I am the Activities Coordinator here at Rose Lodge and I have been here since 2010 .
My role is to engage and stimulate our residents by offering a range of activities for them to enjoy. I want to get everyone involved and make our home community and atmosphere as positive and welcoming as possible.
Making sure that our residents have things to do that they really enjoy doing is something that I am passionate about, It is so important to make sure that they are happy and enjoy all of the activities and events that we do with them. We enjoy creating new and special memories together.

Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Rose Lodge Care Home
Easter Celebrations
On Easter Sunday, residents enjoyed a singalong and raffle to mark Easter. They also painted eggs to hang on their Easter tree.
RAF Reunion
On 28th March, former RAF bomber, Henry, came in to have lunch with resident, Fredrick, who was also an RAF bomber. They had a lovely meal in the dining room at Rose Lodge and chatted about all sorts of things in their lives.
The Banjo Man is Back!
On Thursday 14th March, residents enjoyed entertainment from The Banjo Man! He is a firm favourite here at Rose Lodge, and we can't wait for his return!
Zumba Fun
Resident enjoyed an after of Zumba, which helps with flexibility. We can't wait for our next session!
Singalong Sunday
Residents love 'Singalong Sunday' with Trudie. It was a lovely morning and everyone got involved!
Valentine's Lunch
The kitchen team treated residents to a delicious themed lunch on Valentine's Day. It was lovely!
