Activities at Rose Lodge Care Home
Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Hello, my name is Jane and I am the Activities Coordinator here at Rose Lodge and I have been here since 2010 .
My role is to engage and stimulate our residents by offering a range of activities for them to enjoy. I want to get everyone involved and make our home community and atmosphere as positive and welcoming as possible.
Making sure that our residents have things to do that they really enjoy doing is something that I am passionate about, It is so important to make sure that they are happy and enjoy all of the activities and events that we do with them. We enjoy creating new and special memories together.

Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Rose Lodge Care Home
May National Garden Week
A big thank you to our local B&Q store in Wisbech for donating plants seeds, trays and window boxes for our residents for National Gardening Week. We had so much fun planting our plants.
May Bank Holiday
Staff and residents enjoyed lots of fun dancing around the maypole with music in the background whilst holding musical bars, bells & maracas.
A Royal Celebration
On 21st April, residents sat down to celebrate the Queen’s birthday with a cream tea with scones, jam & clotted cream and music playing in the background.
Memory Book
In April, residents enjoyed helping out by putting in photos of activities in their Memory Book.
Easter Games
In April, residents enjoyed playing a Easter egg hunt game, winning lots of mini eggs. Of course, residents loved eating some delicious Easter eggs too.
Easter Baking
On 18th March, residents took part prepping and making their Easter cake.
