Activities at Rose Lodge Care Home
Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Hello, my name is Jane and I am the Activities Coordinator here at Rose Lodge and I have been here since 2010 .
My role is to engage and stimulate our residents by offering a range of activities for them to enjoy. I want to get everyone involved and make our home community and atmosphere as positive and welcoming as possible.
Making sure that our residents have things to do that they really enjoy doing is something that I am passionate about, It is so important to make sure that they are happy and enjoy all of the activities and events that we do with them. We enjoy creating new and special memories together.

As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Rose Lodge Care Home
Eyes Down
July has been lovely weather for us, so we enjoyed a game of bingo outside in the lovely garden in the shade.
Birthday Celebrations
On 14th July, a resident celebrated her 100th birthday with entertainment, and we all raised our glass to toast a wonderful celebration birthday.
World Chocolate Day
In July, residents took part in National Chocolate Day with their chocolate fountain and marshmallows.
Ascot Day
Residents really enjoyed celebrating the Royal Ascot here at Rose Lodge.
Gingerbread Day
In June residents enjoyed themselves, having fun decorating gingerbread. Thank you to our local supermarket, Morrison’s, for donating gingerbread for the occasion.
Al Fresco Entertainment
In May, residents enjoyed their first entertainment outside; this was a lovely morning and the weather was nice and sunny. There was lots of singing and it was such a lovely morning.
