Our Activities Coordinators work as a team by involving staff and relatives in the activities sessions. They implement and plan activities tailored to residents' likes, dislikes, beliefs and life stories. Lots of people choose to place loved ones in Magnolia Court because of our reputation for hosting great activities all year long!

I joined Barchester in December 2019 as an Activities assistant and in February 2022 I became the Activities Lead at Magnolia Court Care Home. I am passionate about my role at Magnolia Court, I am a people person and nothing makes me happier than putting a smile on our Residents faces. It is a joy to work with such a great team, I am very happy to be a part of team Magnolia and look forward to meeting you soon!

Magnolia Court were delighted to get a visit from this little bundle of cuteness Bailey.

Bailey was in huge demand for cuddles and there was lots of fun to be had.

Residents from Magnolia Court enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at the Arts Depot in Finchley.

They were invited for a lovely Fish and Chip lunch followed by The legends of swing show. It was a great show that included some of our favorite Ella Fitzgerald song.

Residents at Magnolia Court were delighted to receive these wonderful letters from Orion Primary School and they certainly made us smile.

We have busy writing letters to send to our pen pals at Orion Primary to thank them for the letters they sent. They really did brighten our day.

Arts & Crafts workshop !

Residents at Magnolia Court loved having Paloma from 'Creative Mojo' back to give us a masterclass in Arts & Crafts. The theme for this week was Sunflowers - a theme ignited by our recent competition win!

MP Mike Freer visits Magnolia Court !

Today residents were delighted to have a visit from Local MP for Finchley and Golder's Green Mike Freer MP

Mike joined residents in their afternoon game session and was a great sport by hosting as the Bingo caller. He was a natural and presented prizes to the winners.

The afternoon finished with a chat and refreshments. Thank you for visiting Mike Freer MP it was great to see you.

An afternoon of Cheese, Wine and Poetry !

An afternoon of Cheese and Wine !

Magnolia Court hosted a wonderful cheese and wine afternoon for local residents from the community. They enjoyed and delious selection of cheese and crackers, prepared by our Chef Alfred and his team and some accompanying wines.

A number of the guests also recited poetry they had written. It was a lovely afternoon enjoyed by all.
