"Good ratio of staff to residents. My uncle is always well turned out and his needs taken care of. The care home is clean and tidy both in the communal areas and my uncle's room. His nurse is always there and has a good understanding of his needs."

I recently visited Magnolia Court and was given a show round by Wayne, the home manager. From the moment I arrived, he made me feel genuinely welcome and at ease. His warmth, professionalism, and in-depth knowledge of the home were immediately apparent. Served me a nice Coffee and cake at their nice cafeteria.

He took the time to explain every detail clearly, answering all questions with patience and care. I was particularly impressed by how he highlighted the home’s person-centred approach and the little touches that make it feel so comfortable and homely.

My first visit recently as my God Mother has just moved in.

The thing that stood out was the friendliness and helpfulness of all yhe staff I came into contact with or passed.

The reception appeared clean and tidy.
No strong odours.

My God Mother recently came from a different care home, to hospital and now to here. There is such a remarkable difference in her general well being, her reactions, sitting and standing upright, eating and drinking and saying words that make sense and are clear. My Godmother also looked at the clock and said... oh its a o'clock! I can't tell you how amazed and happy we were to see this massive improvement. I can only assume its down to this home.

My God mothers room was so much brighter and spacious compared to what she came from.

The home on a whole seemed bright inside. The residents had freedom to walk around their floor and investigate.

My Aunt is in another of Barchesters care homes and they are very good. Especially for entertaining and activities.
