Activities at Hilton Park Care Home
Activities are the cornerstone of a wholesome home experience and our Activities Coordinators are always putting their creative minds to the test by organising new and exciting social events for residents to partake in. Of course, we take into account the likes and dislikes of those we support, so if someone doesn’t feel like trying something new, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests. For the people who may just prefer some peace and quiet instead, we also offer one-to-one time that can be enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee or just a simple chat – whatever they desire.
Jenelyn Szabo
Jenelyn is our head of activities here at Hilton Park. Having started her Barchester journey as a carer back in 2019, Jenelyn has gained good experience of working closely to our residents. Jenelyn then moved onto our Activities team and enjoyed working as an Activities co-ordinator, until her promotion to Activity Lead more recently.

Life at Hilton Park Care Home
Circus Show
We enjoyed an amazing circus show recently. There were some extraordinary circus acts, including stilt walking, juggling acrobatics and workshops for all the youngsters wishing to have a go.
We were so lucky to share a wonderful day in the grounds with residents, families and the community.
Easter Garden Party
Loved ones and residents all enjoyed the sunshine out in the garden today. We wowed our guests with therapy ponies, spring lambs and even the Easter bunny came for cuddles. We had a feast prepared by our kitchen team and lots of refreshments. Residents and loved ones had a wonderful day.
World Health Day
Residents enjoyed chopping fruit and building their very own fruit kebabs, “the best part is eating it, the strawberries in particular are absolutely delicious, they remind me of strawberry picking as a small girl” says Helen
Gents get together
The gents have been busy painting our old wooden garden furniture. As you can see the terrace now looks bright and cheerful ready for our seasonal garden parties. Residents have really enjoyed coming out to see the furniture and relatives are continuing to comment on what a great job our residents have done!
High Tea for Two? Don't mind if we do!
High Tea for Two? Don't mind if we do! We had a fabulous time devouring cakes and beverages and chatting amongst friends here at Hilton Park last week, cheers darlings!
Flower Arranging Club at Hilton Park
We are very lucky at Hilton Park to have a great relationship with the local Co-op who give us their flowers at the end of the day on a Monday so our residents can enjoy their weekly flower arranging activities. Throughout the week, Hilton Park have wonderful flowers on display as well as the residents having their own in their rooms.
Here is our resident enjoying a well-earnt tea and biscuit break after beautifully arranging these flowers for decoration in all communities around Hilton Park
