Activities at Hilderstone Hall Care Home
Our activities team are, first and foremost, devoted to each and every resident in the home, and strive to ensure that their interests, hobbies, capabilities and individual requests are met to the highest standard. This could include one-to-one chats, hand massages, reading, music therapy, flower arranging, movement to music, arts & crafts, gardening and baking. We also have regular fun, adventurous and stimulating trips, where we encourage families and loved ones to join us. We have close links with the Alzheimer's Society, the local primary school, and Trinity Skills who come to sing with residents. All the staff at Hilderstone Hall participate in activities with residents, offering encouragement, stimulation and interaction for everyone involved, providing the most fulfilling experience possible.

Life at Hilderstone Hall Care Home
Harvest Festival
In celebration of Harvest Festival this year, our local Vicar Marion came in to Hilderstone Hall to conduct a service. We had such a pleasant afternoon!
Afterwards, we donated the fruit and vegetables to a local homeless shelter, which they were most grateful for.
National Dog Day
On August bank holiday we celebrated National Dog Day, where we put on our very own dog show. We had lots of dogs turn up, and every dog won a category with a certificate and some lovely prizes.
Sounds Familiar
We had a fantastic open day; everyone was wearing a smile, and our local singers, 'Sounds Familiar', put on a great performance of happy music. All our residents sang along to it and had a really fun time. We look forward to welcoming them back in October
Village Fête
On Saturday 20th July, we had a wonderful day with the village residents here in Hilderstone with our own stall at the village fête. There were lots of fun games and nice prizes for the winners of our tombola. It was a great day!
Celebrating 70 Years
Mr. & Mrs Allen enjoyed celebrating their 70th year together here at Hilderstone Hall.
Keep Fit Friday
Residents have been enjoying our Keep Fit Fridays. Andy has been bringing lots of fun games and exercises in for residents to do, including light boxing, football, weights, stretches, ball throwing and catching. The best exercise of all was all the laughing the residents were doing when Andy made the staff do 10 press ups!
