Activities at Derham House Care Home

We understand that the people we support have passions and interests that could be difficult to pursue after moving into a care home – but that doesn’t mean we don’t encourage them to try! Some hobbies can define a person, so our Activities Coordinators are dedicated to ensuring that everyone we support is able to do what makes them happy to the best of their abilities. Social events are organised with individual tastes in mind and with the idea that residents have the opportunity to try new and exciting things.

Dawn At Derham House

Dawn at Derham House is peaceful and beautiful.

One of our talented team members snapped these pictures of dawn on a winter's morning in our garden. Our residents enjoy scenes such as these every day at Derham House. We are fortunate to be able to enjoy extensive gardens and beautiful scenery which are kept perfect by our fantastic maintenance team.

Derham House looks beautiful in any weather.

Residents at Derham House have been enjoying the recent winter weather and reminiscing about snowy adventures from their childhoods. A couple of snowballs were also thrown at some unsuspecting staff!
