Sharon Osborne
Hello, and welcome to our website. My name is Sharon and I am the General Manager of Derham House care home.
I am proud to be leading the fantastic team at Derham House to provide the very best care and lifestyle for all of the residents.
My vision is to create a 'home from home' environment, where residents are actively involved in organising events, making decisions, and planning their care.
Our door is always open to visitors who want to experience our family-friendly atmosphere and I am always ready to speak to anyone who is starting to explore their future care needs.

Monica Verma
Hello, my name is Monica, and I am proud to be the Deputy Manager at Derham House. With over 20 years of nursing experience, I have dedicated my career to providing compassionate, high-quality care to those who need it most.
From a young age, I knew I wanted to be a nurse. I have always been drawn to caring for others, and over the years, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals with complex conditions and palliative care needs. My journey in healthcare has taken me through a range of roles, from frontline nursing to leadership positions, where I have focused on mentoring teams, improving care standards, and ensuring residents feel safe, valued, and respected.
As part of our team at Derham House, I help create a warm and supportive environment where residents feel truly at home because I believe great care goes beyond meeting medical needs—it's about building relationships, listening, and ensuring dignity, comfort, and quality of life for everyone.

Patience Katsande
My name is Patience and I qualified with a diploma in 2004. I worked on the Channel Islands for 14 years on dementia & rehabilitation wards. I progressed through my professional practice attaining a clinical practice degree at the University of Southampton. I joined Barchester in 2019 working as a senior nurse on our memory lane community. I not only enjoy my responsibilities but I work to make a difference in other people’s lives. Nursing is a part of me not just a job and I am fortunate to be able to do something I love every day.

Ritica Radulescu
My name is Ritica, I am a Registered General Nurse at Derham House.
I joined Derham house in July 2021, and I have worked for Barchester since 2014. My role is to ensure that all residents are provided with the best possible care. My goal is to promote wellness and quality care for residents, focusing on dignity, respect and choice.

Nina Addison
Hi I am Nina the home's administrator at Derham House. My role involves supporting the General Manager and taking responsibility for all the financial and administration aspects of the home. I have a wealth of experience within the Care market initially working in various roles as a carer this means I can help and understand Residents and Relatives form a hands on perspective.

Kay Thompson
I have worked in the care sector for many years. I am fully trained in dementia awareness, and I have also trained as a dignity champion. I have been working here at Derham House since March 2019, and I am really enjoying my role here.

Dmitrij Saverskij
My Name is Dmitrij I have a wealth of experience as a Chef. I am self-motivated and have an in-depth understanding of the preparation and presentation of meals with a focus on traditional favourites.
As the Head chef, I take pride in my work and diligent care to ensure daily meals are prepared as per the weekly menu’s requirements. I am a highly organised and have excelled at managing and working closely with the kitchen team and all the staff members to ensure the effective running of the kitchen.

Andy Fillary
I joined the team in 2018 and, since then, I have also taken on the role of Health & Safety Champion. It is my duty to keep the building in good repair and ensure everyone’s safety.
Derham House is a lovely home with beautiful scenery, and everyone who visits us is guaranteed a warm and welcoming hello. I take great pride in our wonderful gardens and I ensure that our home is kept to a very high standard.
I’m here to help in any way I can, and will always make time for a quick chat.

Saida Stepanaviciene
Saida has worked at Derham House from 2007. She started as Housekeeping Assistant and now she manages the department. Thanks to Saida and her team of ladies in pink, Derham House is proud of its reputation for cleanliness. Saida appreciates how important the home environment is for residents and her team make a wonderful effort everyday.

Idris Bangbala
Hi, my name is Idris and I am one of the Clinical Care Practitioners here at Derham House.
I became a Carer because there is nothing more rewarding than making a positive impact on someone's life and improving their happiness. Since working at Derham House I have enjoyed being part of this great team and getting to know the residents, I love putting a smile on their faces each day. I am very proud to have progressed in my role from a Carer to Senior Carer and now as Clinical Care Practitioner.
My family is very important to me and I want the families of each resident to know that I am caring for their loved one in the way that I would want my family cared for.
