Types of care
The care we provide is delivered in a way that promotes independence for those who live in our home. Where possible, it is important that residents are encouraged to perform daily tasks independently or with minor support. Our services are devised with individualised treatment in mind for each person, so getting to know everyone and understanding their needs is imperative to delivering bespoke, person-centred care.Read more

Michelle Di Bella
Hi, my name is Michelle and I am the General Manager here at Derham House. I hope you find what you're looking for on our website.
I worked as a home manager for 4 years in various settings within the same company, ensuring that the homes attained compliance and they had a welcoming and homely environment that people would wish to live in. Before this, I was a deputy home manager in a role ensuring that all clinical aspects of the home were met, so that people were safe and well-cared for. I am a qualified nurse and have previously had experience caring for people with terminal illnesses. I have further qualifications in dementia care from Bradford University.
It is a wonderful feeling able to leave at the end of the day knowing that I have been able to make a change to the people’s lives within the home in which I work, and that people remain safe and happy in this environment.Get in touch Meet my team
