Activities at Chorleywood Beaumont Care Home
Our Activities Coordinators are constantly striving to mentally and physically stimulate those we support by organising group and individual activities for anyone and everyone to participate in. There are regular weekly outings in the minibus to nearby places of interest including the local theatre and Cathedral's as well as visits from PAT dogs, visiting zoos, musicians and entertainers. We also host evenings such as our Pizza & Quiz Night that we encourage relatives to come to. Activities are one of the most important aspects of a care home, so it is essential that our team are dedicated to ensuring that residents are entertained, and that life at Chorleywood Beaumont Care Community is fun and active.

I joined Barchester in November 2016 as an senior care assistant and in May 2024 I became the Activity Lead at Chorleywood Beaumont.
It is a joy to work with such a great team and nothing makes me happier to bring joy and laughter into our residents daily lives.

Life at Chorleywood Beaumont Care Home
Bingo and fizz!
A game of bingo is a familiar favourite for everyone at Chorleywood Beaumont .
The residents took part and tried their luck to win some prizes. They were thrilled to win and select a prize from an array of items, some of them even multiple times!
It was a lovely activity, enjoyed by all.
Musical Soirée and Afternoon Tea at Croxley Danes School.
Residents from CHorleywood Beaumont were delighted to receive and invitation from Danes School. The afternoon was a delightful blend of elegance and harmony, filled with beautiful melodies that touched our hearts and delicious treats that delighted our taste buds. It was truly a memorable experience that we will cherish for a long time.
On behalf of all the residents from Chorleywood Beaumont, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for inviting us to the exquisite Musical Soirée and Afternoon Tea at Croxley Danes School.

Happy "100th" Birthday Vicky
This incredible milestone was held at Chorleywood Beaumont , where her family and friends all joined her to celebrate this amazing day where they enjoyed a fulfilled 100th party.
Vicky shouldn't only be congratulated for reaching 100, an amazing milestone in itself.
Vicky should be praised for the love, caring and wisdom she has given so generously every day for 100 years.

Happy Carers Week

Get Barchester Moving
Last week Chorleywood Beaumont have been participating in the Barchester get moving week.
Get Barchester Moving is a Foundation Week initiative encouraging a week of activity to include the Barchester care home teams, residents, relatives and communities.
You can move however you please – it’s the collective ‘Move Minutes’ that count! And it’s an opportunity for everyone to fundraise for the Foundation, whilst having fun and taking care of their wellbeing.
Throughout the week we have tailored our activities to incorporate and encourage everyone to get moving.
Performing Pets Visit
Performing Pets arrived at Chorleywood Beaumont yesterday afternoon much to the delight of our Residents and Staff! Please enjoy the photographs of these very popular cute 7 weeks’ old miniature piglets!
They will be back again soon. They are a lovely example of the ways in which Chorleywood Beaumont provides interesting daily Activities for our wonderful Residents!
