Activities at Bushey House Beaumont Care Home
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

I started working at Bushey House Beaumont in 2022 in an activities role that I absolutely love. There are very few jobs that offer the daily satisfaction and fulfilment that mine does. I am delighted to be able to play my part in helping to bring joy and laughter into our residents’ daily lives and offer them an interesting choice of events to do just that.

As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies

Dementia friendly events at Bushey House this month
As part of Dementia Awareness month, we are planning several dementia friendly events at Bushey House from a disco to well-being walks and information events.
Cheese and wine information evening
Enjoy a selection of delicious cheese and wine at Bushey House on 22nd May 5.30pm. Local organisations including finance, legal and health will be providing information.
Stroke Association support group
The Stroke Association run a weekly support group for stroke survivors. This includes people who have vascular dementia as a result of a stroke. Contact us for more information.
U3A Philosophy Group
