Activities at Brook House Care Home

Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Life at Brook House Care Home

Rainbow for Life and Hope

Norma loves to paint and before she use to loves to read books. A lot of books are her witness in her room, on the shelf, kipping alive her memories from the past. Today, together we have done a big rainbow to be attached on the window.

Still having good memories, sometimes she remember how to arrange flowers and often is participating to some activities with other residents: cooking, drawing, doing some beautiful arrangements on some holly days, helping the carers during some tasks.

Arts and Crafts

Francis Mcsweeney is a resident for many years, today he was drawing a rainbow, helped by our staff. He seemed to be very happy doing this today and after his rainbow was sticking on the window.

Francis loves to listen music, Scottish one and also he loves to watch movies to the TV. During the activities, he loves to go out in the garden and watching the performances.
