General Manager

Hi, my name is John, and I am the General Manager here at Brook House.

I have worked at Brook House since 2007. I was first attracted to this home because of the homely environment and friendly staff.

Nothing is too much to ensure that the residents are happy and their needs are met.

I work every Sunday to ensure that there is contact with loves ones who may not be able to visit during the week.

Brook House provides excellent care, which is reflected in our CQC rating. We always work hard to promote residents' interests prior to moving into the home.

Deputy Manager

I have 25 years of nursing experience, and have been the Deputy Manager at Brook House for the past 6 and a half years. I have taken charge of the nurses and carers on our floors to ensure our residents receive the optimum level of care, and we aim to work as a team to provide the above.

Finance Administrator

Hi, my name is Rita and I joined Brook House in October 2017 as the Finance Administrator. I have an NVQ in accounting.

I find working for Barchester to be very rewarding. The company truly cares about the welfare of its employees as much as they care about the welfare of residents.

I am very proud to be working with a great team that endeavours to provide the best standard of care for those they support.

Activities Coordinator

I have been here since 2015 and have enjoyed helping to keep residents happy and entertained. I have dealt with people all my career and feel comfortable dealing with those from all walks of life. In addition to my academic degree in Political Science and Tourism, I have NAPA Level 1 and NVQ level 3.

Here at Brook house, we endeavour to provide a variety of activities and entertainment for those we support.

In an era of technology, we look to using ways of reaching the outside world through Zoom, Skype and voicemail. We hope our residents never feel alone and are always approachable.

Head of Maintenance

I joined the team at Brook House in 2014 as the Head of Maintenance. It is my responsibility to maintain the home to the highest possible standard. I liaise with outside contractors and the home management team at all times and will always ensure that a room is ready when a resident moves in.

I will always do my best to assist residents and their families with personalising their new quarters. I also make sure that all the gardens, along with the courtyard, are colourful all year round for residents and visitors to enjoy.
