Activities at Beaufort Grange Care Home
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.
Lynnett Heron
Hello I am Lynnett and I am the Activities Coordinator at Beaufort Grange. My job is a big part of my life, and I thrive on seeing residents smiling and having fun. I'm very outgoing with an infectious personality and have an incredible bond with many of our residents and their families. Our activities program ranges from arts & crafts, live music, gardening, trips out, walks and so much more.
As a team we are committed to Barchester's Life Enrichment programme ensuring we work with mind, body and soul.

FACE Visits Beaufort
We recently presented FACE (the Foundation for Active Community Engagement) with a cheque for £1500 on behalf of the Barchester Foundation. The grant will enable adults with learning disabilities to attend adult learning courses, commencing in January. We welcomed the manager of the charity to an afternoon of festivities and to take a tour of our home.
Gingerbread Baking
Residents at Beaufort Grange began the festive period by baking homemade gingerbread biscuits!
Christmas Has Arrived!
Residents have been decorating the home ready for Christmas. Here is Sam with one of our finished Christmas trees.
Victory Rollers
What a great morning we had with Victory Rollers coming in to entertain us; residents enjoyed a singalong and plenty of waving of flags in time with the music. We look forward to welcoming Victory Rollers into Beaufort again soon.
Employee of the Month - October
Callam, who is part of our activities team, has deservedly won Employee of the Month for October. Callam is a real asset to Beaufort Grange and works incredibly hard to do anything that he can for everyone we support. Well done, Callam!
Halloween
Residents loved having the staff bring in their little ones to trick or treat. Considering it was supposed to be a scary event, there sure was a lot of smiles all round.
