Activities at Badgeworth Court Care Home

Our Activities Coordinators provide a stimulating social programme to suit residents' individual tastes and desires, and offer group or one-to-one activities based on individual preferences. We are a dedicated team that always ensures residents have enough to do to keep them stimulated and entertained. There are regular trips out on the minibus to nearby places of interest, and exercise classes to suit people of all capabilities, in addition to much, much more.

Life at Badgeworth Court Care Home

,

Gardening Club

Our residents and team members have enjoyed getting out in sunshine in our gardens and being creative and cultivating their own home-grown vegetables.

We had a relaxing Gardening Club and enjoyed conversing with each other whilst taking in the spring sunshine.

Mother's Day

To celebrate Mother's Day, our residents enjoyed being made to feel very special.

It was a day of smiles and gift-giving and receiving cards and flowers. Our team members provided a gift to each lady in Badgeworth Court, along with a gift card from Holy Trinity Church. The home was decorated for the day, as was our visiting suite, where residents had visits from family and friends. Our residents enjoyed a delicious lunch provided by our Chef.

It was a very special day with our residents, relatives and team members.

Connecting with Kids

We were delighted to have a Zoom call with year 1 at St Gregory's Catholic Primary School to share songs and answer questions from our young friends.

We are very excited to do this again!

Sharing Love

We have had a lovely day sharing the love at Badgeworth Court and in our community. Our tables were beautifully set up for the special meal cooked by our chef.

Residents and team members received special treats, either a goody bag with lovely chocolates or knitted hearts. Also, our team members shared the love with a vintage tea afternoon to celebrate Valentine’s Day in their rooms and lounges, which included a lovely heart-shaped biscuit, a cup of tea and love songs in the background.

It was a full afternoon with treats for everyone sharing love and kindness.

Bonfire Night

Badgeworth Court Bonfire Night celebrations have been a great success!

Residents have enjoyed a day of sharing memories of previous bonfire nights. We warmed ourselves up with a delicious BBQ provided by our Head Chef, alongside hot chocolate and mulled wine.

We hope the the local community enjoyed the fireworks display as much as we did.

Thank you to everyone who supported this event!

Christmas Hearts for Schools

This Christmas, we would like to help share some joy following what has been a difficult year, for us all.

The Badgeworth activities team, inspired by Picture News and Katrina Cole, organised a special surprise for the local schools.

Residents and team members at Badgeworth started this project by decorating wooden hearts with special messages or drawings.

It was lovely to see the smiles on our residents' faces and the Christmas spirit it brought to Badgeworth Court.
