Our activities team are great at building the activities programme around the likes and interests of the people we care for. Ensuring that our social events offer fun and adventure is part of the ethos of our home; it’s important that those we support can enjoy an active and social lifestyle. Of course, there will always be those who prefer peace and quiet, and in these instances, a cup of tea and a chat are always welcomed.
Dawn Davies & Helen Fagan
Dawn and Helen are at the centre of all the activities here at West Oak. They provide an interesting and varied activities schedule and ensure that there is something for everyone. They are passionate about the importance of activities and will go that extra mile just for a smile or a raised eyebrow, whether it's one-to-one time or a group session, inside or out, fun is had by all.

As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at West Oak Care Home
Breakfast Club
On the 26th May West Oak opened its doors to all the multi-disciplinary teams for the Breakfast Club; there were bacon rolls, pastries and piping hot coffee available to everyone who came along.
Flower Arranging
Residents had a lot of fun arranging beautiful displays to decorate the home with.
Musical Fun
Everyone had a lot of fun dancing and singing - and ringing bells - here at West Oak recently.
Trip Out
The frothy moustache gave away Geoff's trip to Costa during our latest trip out.
National Pet Month
Residents all enjoyed the vast array of animals that Zoolab brought to the home.
Easter at West Oak
A few residents at West Oak teamed up to create this delicious cake for Barchester's Easter Cake Competition. Ladies also enjoyed making their very own Easter bonnets.
