Activities at Trinity Manor Care Home

Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Bibesh Shrestha

Activities Coordinator

Hi, My name is Bibesh Shrestha, Activity Coordinator

Having more than 10 years of professional experience in multiple sectors at different places have given me the confidence to get involved in any challenging environment where my skills and experience will be instrumental in achieving personal and social goals.

Being a motivator and influencer to the people around me has always been my passion, and also part of my profession. As an Activity Coordinator, my ultimate goal is to transfer my energy and spread my happiness.

Being active and full of energy with humbleness is what defines me and transferring that energy to the people around me has been my prime interest.

Life at Trinity Manor Care Home

,

Elf Day

Trinity Manor staff dressed up for Elf Day on 4th December to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society. Residents and staff had lots of fun and naughty elves even tried to break a Christmas cracker before Christmas.

Celebrating 1 Year

Trinity Manor hosted a birthday party to celebrate their first year of serving in the local community.

Staff and residents enjoyed the entertainment from opera soloist, Jon Valence (performance outside and with social distancing measures in place), and indulged in a tipple (or two!) along with a delicious buffet prepared by the home’s kitchen team.

Trinity Manor has built up an excellent reputation in their first year. The home regularly holds online events and activities for its residents and surrounding neighbours and enjoys being an active part of the local community.

MP Visit

Trinity Manor was honoured to meet MP for West Dorset, Chris Loder.

Our Resident Ambassador, Dr Valerie Marett, has requested a visit and was extremely pleased to be able to have a political discussion with the politician himself, talking about white papers & what the future holds.

Thanks to our visiting suite, we are now able to invite guests to meet our residents.

World Kindness Day

Did you know that 13 November is World Kindness Day? What was your act of kindness?

Trinity Manor team prepared some freshly baked scones and delivered them to isolated elderly around Sherborne and Yeovil areas.

"Carry out a random act of kindness, with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you." Princess Diana.

,

Farm Fresh Fridays

Farm Fresh Friday is the initiative Trinity Manor have started to engage with local farmer community. Residents had a pleasure to try out Dorset Dairy & Co's amazing yoghurts, butter, double cream and milk.

Bonfire Bake Off

Many of you have celebrated bonfire night with some fireworks or a nice family dinner but here, at Trinity Manor care home we had a Bonfire Bake Off.

Our talented employees rolled up their sleeves and got baking. We had most incredibly creative cakes combined with absolutely fantastic taste. Have a look for yourself and tell us which one do you think won?

We had some quite tough judges too: Regional Director, Resident Ambassador and Previously grocery owner.
