Activities at Stoneham Grove Care Home
Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life.
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Iuliana Buican
Hello, my name is Iuliana and I'm Activities Lead here at Stoneham Grove.
I worked as a History Teacher for 12 years before joining Barchester in 2017.
I am passionate about my job and I love working with people. I enjoy planning and providing meaningful activities that make a difference in the lives of our residents, counting their hobbies and wishes.
In my free time, I enjoy travelling, dancing, quizzing and playing board games with my family and friends.
I am looking forward to using my skills and experience to enhance the lives of our wonderful residents.
Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Stoneham Grove Care Home

We are open.....
Last week we opened in style.....our very special VIP opening was performed by Deputy Lieutenant of Berkshire, Susan Roberts, in front of invited guests from local businesses and community organisations.
Barchester’s General Counsel and Director of Quality, Risk and Compliance, Mike O’Reilly, and General Manager, Jodie Lunnon, hosted the event and invited guests to view the stunning new 64 bed care home, along with its beautiful landscaped gardens, which is now open and welcoming its first residents.
The home has been designed with residents’ comfort in mind and the team at Stoneham Grove will offer residential support, respite stays and specialised dementia care, all delivered by a dedicated and passionate team of trained professionals.

Our Rainbow Table has arrived!

Our very first employee of the month

A visit from Long Lane Primary School
We would like to say a big thank you to the children and teachers at Long Lane Primary School who have supported us here at Stoneham Grove to name our communities within the home.
They all came for a visit recently to the areas they had named and share with us the results! Everyone enjoyed the visit and of course the chocolate cake!

Cheese and Wine Evening
We had a very successful cheese and wine evening here at Stoneham Grove to thank our local neighbours for their patience during the build of the home. It was a wonderful chance to meet people and give people a sneak peek tour of our home.
Our fabulous Head Chef Peter received a lot of compliments and so did the rest of the team for their efforts on the evening.

Stoneham Groves first virtual quiz
Stoneham Grove held their first virtual quiz and it was a great success. We definitely showed our competitive side and it was great fun getting everyone together. We are really looking forward to the next one.
