The home will be opening in July 2025. Please give us a call to find out more about our luxury home and bespoke residential and dementia care services.
Farley Gardens Home in Bracknell, is a brand new purpose-built care home that will open its doors in July 2025. The home is specifically designed to deliver first class residential and dementia care for older people in a homely, yet secure environment. Our experienced and dedicated team will be ready to deliver exceptional standards of compassionate care, which focuses on the individual needs of each resident.
Care will be focused on independence, dignity and choice, with a person-centred approach. Meals will be freshly prepared on-site by trained chefs, who will offer a range of nutritious and tasty food, catering for special dietary requirements when needed.
The home will feature a wide range of facilities including a café with outdoor seating serving tea, coffee and delicious homemade cakes, dining rooms with garden access ideal for summer nights, a cinema to watch the classics and a relaxing spa bathroom located on each floor of the home. As with all Barchester homes, there will be a full and varied schedule of virtual and live activities each and every day which residents are welcome to get involved in as much or as little as they wish.
For those living with dementia, there will be a dedicated area called Memory Lane which will offer high quality care and thoughtful touches to help make life easier. For example features include a Magic Table – this is an interactive light projector that was originally developed in The Netherlands. It's a specialist piece of technology designed to support residents living with dementia. Additionally, our interior space, colours and bedrooms are all designed to help with difficulties associated with dementia.
The care we provide will be delivered in a way that promotes independence for those who live in our home. Where possible, it will be important that residents are encouraged to perform daily tasks independently or with minor support. Our services will be devised with individualised treatment in mind for each person, so getting to know everyone and understanding their needs is imperative to delivering bespoke, person-centred care.

Hello. My name is Simona, and I am the Senior General Manager here at Farley Gardens. My team and I can't wait to welcome you into our beautiful new home.
My role is to ensure that we deliver what we say we do. I am responsible for overall service delivery to our residents and community, inspiring and leading the team and to ensure high standards of governance and compliance are achieved.
I trained as a nurse in Italy, and worked there for 20 years in that capacity. The last 7 years before leaving Italy I had the privilege of serving the public healthcare sector through managing and leading frontline hospital services. In 2017, I came to the UK and joined the NHS, which I was particularly proud of. I have learnt a great deal from these colleagues along my career journey.
I truly believe in the values of responsibility, integrity, kindness, compassion and doing what I can for others. The care sector has afforded me the opportunity to ‘live’ these values in the workplace, for which I am truly grateful.
After serving in the NHS, I was immediately drawn to Barchester because of the culture and principles the organisation aspires to.
I am now passionately working with the community and my team here at Austen House to take the home’s services forward. My team and I are fully committed to embedding the Barchester Values: RESPECT, INTEGRITY, PASSION, EMPOWERMENT and RESPONSIBILITY.
My door is always open to the community, family, residents and staff: do not hesitate to come and talk to me should you need anything or if I can assist in any way.
Thank you for your interest in our lovely home.
