Activities at South Grange Care Home

Our specialist activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as possible, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible, and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join with activities and events as often as they can.

Trishaw Adventure

Staff and residents at South Grange Care Centre in Monifieth received a visit from Cycling without Age Scotland, Monifieth. The charity that is run by the help of volunteers have two trishaws named Tay Town Roller and Sea Way Stroller.

The volunteers brought along the trishaws for our residents of South Grange to experience a ride around the local area. This went down a treat with residents and staff who now cannot wait for this to become a regular activity

Fiona Torrie, General Manager at South Grange said: “Our residents have had such a lovely time being out in the fresh air and looking forward to the good weather to enjoy these rides.”
