Activities at Snowdrop Place Care Home

Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life.

Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Technology through generations

Thank you to Deer park Secondary School who took time and visited to show residents what they had been recently working on They brought along VR headsets for the residents to experience. They went on a deep sea diving experience, a trip into space and for those looking for a little more exciting a ride on a roller a coaster. The students also brought in the laptops and showed the residents how AI worked. We really embrace how we can invite the community into our home, and how inter generational technology can be

Halloween Celebrations at Snowdrop Place

There wasn't any tricks, but plenty of treats when we welcomed Pavilion Pirates Pre School Hedge End, Southampton to Snowdrop Place in preparation of the Halloween celebrations.

We really enjoy the local community being involved in our wonderful home whenever they can, and the inter generational meeting is always a pleasure and brings joy to many.
