Activities at Snowdrop Place Care Home
Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life.
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Gemma Moss
Having started my journey as a carer, I am now thrilled to be supporting the activities for our wonderful residents here at Snowdrop Place. I love working with them to ensure we provide a full person-centred planner of amazing and engaging things for everyone to enjoy and be a part of
Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Snowdrop Place Care Home

Meet Milo - our newest volunteer
We're delighted to welcome a new regular visitor to Snowdrop Place as 2025 begins. Milo the Pet Therapy dog has made plans to come and meet the residents and staff each week, for company and cuddles. The residents can either see Milo in our beautiful lounge areas, in the gardens or he is happy to pop in and see residents individually with owner.

Snowdrop Place staff incentive winner
🌟Congratulations to Esther 🌟
We launched a new team incentive throughout December for all of our wonderful care team at Snowdrop Place, and the lucky winner is Esther. All our carers offer expertise when it comes to enriching the lives of our residents, and making our home as supportive as possible.
Who will win next month?

Employee of the Month October
Congratulations, lets celebrate our Employee of the Month for October at Snowdrop Place presented by our residents Beryl and Betty.
Our Chef Daniel recently started at our home and is part of the team that create, prepare and serve our residents each day. Compliments on the menu, and generally being part of the Whole Home Approach we pride ourselves on, were comments mentioned in his nominations from staff, residents and their families.
Did you know that all of our hospitality is freshly prepared within the home? We take into consideration our residents preferences, allergies, general likes and dislikes along with their favourites! A huge Well Done again
