Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life.
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Having started my journey as a carer, I am now thrilled to be supporting the activities for our wonderful residents here at Snowdrop Place. I love working with them to ensure we provide a full person-centred planner of amazing and engaging things for everyone to enjoy and be a part of

As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies

Afternoon fun with skittles
What better way to spend a sunny afternoon, than with the patio doors open enjoying fresh air and a fabulous game of skittles. Residents from both our communities joined forces for a friendly competition of skittles. Our activities team member Gilly keeping a tally of scores, and resident Betty aiming for a strike!

Hilda connects with family in Austria
We were delighted to be able to connect our resident Hilda with technology to enjoy catching up with her Niece in Austria.
Hilda's niece commented "My dearest Auntie lives at Snowdrop since 3 years. I visited her sometimes but we, her family, live far away in Austria. I think she found a good place, very friendly staff and Gemma arranged Zoom calls, so we can see us and have a chat. They take good care of her and I am glad about IT."

Iris turns 100 years young!
We were delighted and honoured to recently share the most wonderful celebrations of our resident Iris' 100th Birthday.
With cards from The King and Queen, family, residents and other Barchester homes Iris' day was full of celebrations. Joined by her family, our Managing Director Natasha Lazovic and the Mayor and Mayoress of Eastleigh David and Jean Parnell there was plenty of fizz and cake for all to enjoy.
