Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Ritson Lodge Care Home
Letters of Kindness
We are very lucky here to have been receiving emails and letters of kindness from the Hopton area. We have put these onto our Smile Board to keep the residents smiling. We have received letters, poems, drawings and paintings!

Staff and residents of Ritson Lodge were overjoyed when a few members of the local community dropped off donations to keep spirits high! Morrisons kindly donated Easter Eggs and 'Baking a Difference' kindly donated cupcakes! Thank you everybody for being so kind!
World Book Day Visitors
In light of World Book Day, we welcomed some visitors to Ritson Lodge from our local School, Hopton Primary. The children treated us to some stories and poems that they themselves had written! Our residents very much enjoy their visits from the local schools and enjoy interacting with the little ones.
Pancake Day Fun
Here at Ritson Lodge, Pancake day was a lot of fun! We all tried flipping pancakes... some of us more successfully than others! We then got to enjoy some freshly made pancakes with a range of delicious toppings.
Valentine's Day Celebrations
Residents, staff and friends of Ritson Lodge celebrated Valentines Day with a tea party and a performance from a local Ukulele band! Everybody had a great time and many of the residents had a dance along to the music!
Stay & Play - Visit from the Toddlers!
Every month we have a lovely local toddler group come into Ritson Lodge to play with the residents! Our residents love the visits from these little ones.
