Activities at Queens Court Care Home

Activities are one of the most important aspects of our care home, providing fun and companionship, so it is essential that our team are dedicated to ensuring that residents are entertained and that life at Queens Court is fun and active. Throughout the home, there is a choice of lounges, which have been designed for people who enjoy socialising and love making new friends. Music therapy, speakers of interest, events, cinema screenings and family events are offered regularly, as well as the Book Club or Poetry Corner, for those who enjoy quieter activities. Our social programme is varied and exciting and is available seven days a week. You can be as busy as you like. Our friends of Queens Court regularly support our special events and activities at the home, which include trips to the seaside and National Trust site

Life at Queens Court Care Home

International Nurses Day Celebrations

Queens Court Wimbledon, recognised the hard work and efforts of all our nurses & staff during these challenging times, by holding a celebration on "International Nurses Day" on 12th May 2020. All the Staff were treated to a sumptuous lunch and gifts.

Congratulations, Ambreen!

The staff and I would like to share some good news during these very difficult times. Nurses have been recognised all over for their dedication and hard work. We are pleased to announce that our very own nurse, Ambreen Masalawalla, has been promoted to Deputy Manager.

Ambreen has been working with the team for 2 years prior to her promotion, and we are looking forward to introducing her to the community when this time is over.

Virtual Tea Party

Innovation is required during these times, and having the virtual tea party was a great idea. We celebrated the traditional taking of tea in the afternoon, a social event developed in the late 1880s and credited to the Duchess of Bedford.

Easter Celebrations

Our amazing chefs made the traditional Easter simnel cake. We always enjoy this cake on Easter Sunday. Abbigail is our Care Practitioner, who has worked at Queens Court for several years and particularly enjoys this special time.

Mother's Day

Residents enjoyed celebrating Mother's Day recently here at Queens Court.

20 Years of Service

Congratulations to Pushparani Sivakumar on completing her 20 years’ of service here at Queens Court. She has shown excellent skill and hard work over the years.
