Activities at Park View Care Home

Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Our New Pumpkin Patch

Our whole team, including residents have been getting busy in our garden.

The team are building a pumpkin garden for residents to grown their own pumpkins, ready for them to decorate our home at Halloween! Our residents really enjoy doing new things in the garden, especially growing things they can use in the future. Robert who helped will go out there daily to water them to ensure they grow.

Some residents enjoyed making their own pancakes in the kitchen on their community, Theodore in particular enjoyed making his pancakes and bringing his made ones to the manager and admin office, added extra strawberries of course.

The activities team made a beautiful trolley of all types of toppings for the pancakes!

VIP Pudding Club

What a great turnout for our latest Pudding Club! We were very pleased to welcome a range of special guests including Mayor Faruk Choudhury, the local Quality & Improvement Team, our Member of Parliament's office manager and many more.

Everyone was impressed with the range of delicious puddings created by the chef, staff team and the residents. Mayor Faruk talked with residents and staff about life at Park View, whilst everyone enjoyed a relaxed afternoon.

We look forward to exhibiting more of our wonderful baking abilities in the months ahead, so feel free to join us at our next Pudding Club meet.
