Overslade House Care Home in Rugby
At Overslade House, we provide a range of accommodation and services for older people in need of support, from respite care to 24-hour nursing care and residential care.
Dementia Care
We also provide specialist support for individuals living with dementia in our bespoke Memory Lane Community, where care is focused on independence, dignity and choice, with a person centred approach. We have also invested in a 'Magic Table' for our home, an interactive light projector designed to support people living with dementia through mentally and physically stimulating games.
Admissions can normally be arranged within 24 hours following assessment; alternatively, respite care and short-term breaks can be booked up to a year in advance.
The home was refurbished in 2015 and was carefully designed with the people we care for in mind. Our bright reception area is the perfect sport for socialising or taking part in one of our many daily activities. Our beautiful dining room is a wonderful place to enjoy a three-course homemade lunch and our bedrooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated.
For more information about our beautiful home, please feel free to give us a call or, better still, come pay us a visit! We are always happy to discuss how we can best meet your individual needs.

Our 'Paying to live in a care home' guide is designed to try and help you understand more about the funding options available and what to consider when choosing a care home.

Violeta Baesu
Hi, my name is Violeta, and I am the Senior General Manager here at Overslade. Welcome to our website!
I have been working at Overslade House since 2004 and I have found our home to be extremely welcoming and a happy place to live and work in.
I first qualified as a nurse in 1996 along with my husband and practiced for 8 years in a hospital in Romania. I moved to the UK along with my family in 2004 and started my employment with Barchester Healthcare at Overslade House as a Senior Care Assistant. I then started my adaptation at Northampton University to allow me to qualify and practice as a nurse in the UK, this I completed in 2007 and I was promoted to RGN at Overslade. I then progressed to Head of Unit in 2011 shortly followed by promotion to Deputy Manager.
I have now taken up the position of General Manager at Overslade House and warmly embrace the opportunities this position will give me. At Overslade House we pride ourselves on our excellent care and skills that our staff possesses. It is my aim to maintain the happy, friendly and caring nature our home offers to our residents.
