Activities at Oulton Park Care Home
We have a wonderful team here at Oulton Park and we all work together to provide a stimulating, active environment for our residents that live here. We are always looking for new and innovative ideas for our residents to be part of here, and our activities coordinator works very hard on planning and providing a stimulating busy schedule of activities, as well as assisting the residents with their daily living preferences. We have regular meetings with our families and residents to make sure we are providing things to suit their preferences. We as a home are registered with the National Activity Providers Association and strive to provide a person-centred approach for our residents here.
Louise Hunter-Hall
Hello my name is Louise, I am the life enrichment and activities coordinator at Oulton park care centre.
I joined Oulton Park late 2023 but I have worked in the care industry for over 20 years and I have a compassion for my role and work. During the 20years I have supported many different adults with different care needs including, nursing care, physical disabilities, learning disabilities, independent living and 1:1 needs. I have both my level 2&3 in care and level 2 in sign language.
At Oulton my role is to create and organise a range of engaging and meaningful activities. My role brings me a great deal of comfort and joy.
If I can just make 1 persons life better during my working day at Oulton Park then the day has been a success. I feel honoured, fortunate and blessed to do the job I do.

As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Oulton Park Care Home
French Day
Today here at Oulton Park we explored France with our residents. We enjoyed a delicious French Menu cooked by our talented Chefs and the residents also enjoyed a French Quiz and took on some French vocabulary in our French puzzles too!
Open Day for our Community Friends
We had a delightful Open Day here at Oulton Park Care Centre - complete with delicious Cakes expertly made by Sonia and a little bit of Elvis too!

Oulton Park Fete 2022
A fantastic sunny day was had at Oulton Parks Summer Fete. Residents, families, visitors and staff had a fabulous day. Amazing food, lots of stalls to spend your penny's, live entertainment, and not forgetting our wonderful four legged friends that put on an amazing show for us.
1950’S Dress up day
Fantastic 1950's dress up day followed by a delicious lunch and afternoon tea party, 1950's movie some music and a dance.
American Day!
We had a great time during our annual USA-themed fun day.
With great American style food from Hot Dogs to Biscuits, to Burgers and New York Cheesecake we were stuffed by the end.
We played a host of USA style games including bowling, basketball and Texas Hold'em poker.
Jubilee Celebrations
We had a fantastic time celebrating the Platinum Jubilee.
We were all feeling incredibly patriotic as we watched the Royal Parade, sang the anthem, enjoyed Pimm's in the sunshine and dressed the home for the occasion. Many of our wonderful residents were able to remember the Queen's coronation 70 years ago and it was fascinating to listen to their stories and memories of the parties that were held when they were children.
