Activities at Oulton Park Care Home
We have a wonderful team here at Oulton Park and we all work together to provide a stimulating, active environment for our residents that live here. We are always looking for new and innovative ideas for our residents to be part of here, and our activities coordinator works very hard on planning and providing a stimulating busy schedule of activities, as well as assisting the residents with their daily living preferences. We have regular meetings with our families and residents to make sure we are providing things to suit their preferences. We as a home are registered with the National Activity Providers Association and strive to provide a person-centred approach for our residents here.
Louise Hunter-Hall
Hello my name is Louise, I am the life enrichment and activities coordinator at Oulton park care centre.
I joined Oulton Park late 2023 but I have worked in the care industry for over 20 years and I have a compassion for my role and work. During the 20years I have supported many different adults with different care needs including, nursing care, physical disabilities, learning disabilities, independent living and 1:1 needs. I have both my level 2&3 in care and level 2 in sign language.
At Oulton my role is to create and organise a range of engaging and meaningful activities. My role brings me a great deal of comfort and joy.
If I can just make 1 persons life better during my working day at Oulton Park then the day has been a success. I feel honoured, fortunate and blessed to do the job I do.

Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Oulton Park Care Home
Oktoberfest
Here at Oulton Park Care Centre we visited Germany to celebrate Oktoberfest.
Our residents enjoyed a fun-filled day with lots of activities including a delicious traditional German inspired lunch.
Residents also baked Apple Strudel and certainly enjoyed this for dessert.
We certainly all had a lovely afternoon enjoying our live entertainment, having a sing and dance followed by making our own Autumn canvases.
Macmillan Coffee Morning
As you can see - our Hospitality Team certainly did not let us down here at Oulton Park for our Macmillan Coffee morning and we also hosted a Raffle too!
What a lovely day for such an amazing cause and thank you to all who came along to support the Coffee Morning.
Employee of the month - Erika!
A huge congratulations to Erika in our Housekeeping Team for being voted employee of the month!
General Manager Sarah adds, "Erika goes above and beyond to help everyone and is superb at what she does. Thank you for all that you do Erika - we are very lucky to have you in our home team!"
Congratulations Beverley
Celebrations were in order at Oulton Park as Beverley Hartigans marked her 10 year anniversary working at Oulton Park Care Centre.
Sarah Wright General Manager said, “Beverley really is exceptional at what she does! Thank you for all your hard work – it is a delight to have you in our home team!”
Beverley added said, “I have been absolutely blown away by the generosity of my colleagues and my Flowers are beautiful. I love working at Oulton Park - the team really are like a second family to me and I couldn’t dream of working anywhere else!"
Tree Planting in honour of her Majesty
Here at Oulton Park in memory of Queen Elizabeth II we planted a lovely tree. This tree symbolises the growth of our Queen and her long reign serving our country - we will be forever grateful. A few colleagues from the home also paid tribute to the Queen and visited her while she was in lying in state.

Housekeeping Day
Here at Oulton Park this Housekeeping Day we said a big thank you to our fabulous Housekeeping Team for all their hard work and for keeping our beautiful home looking so immaculate.
