Activities at Mulberry Court Care Home
The team at Mulberry Court works hard to support and encourage residents to participate in both group and individual activities, based around their preferences and lifestyle choices. We take time to get to know each person, sitting with them and listening to them speak about their lives, interests, and aspirations. We have access to our own minibus so outings to nearby places of interest are available; for example local museums, art galleries, garden centres, and public houses. We also host themed evenings, such as 'Quiz and Meal-in-a-Basket', 'The Races (Greyhounds, Horses)', and 'Takeaway and Movie Night' that we also encourage relatives to come to. We believe lifestyle choices and activities are one of the most important aspects of a care home, and it is essential that we help residents to have fulfilling and enjoyable lives.

Resident Relaxation
Sometimes residents just enjoy relaxing, whether that's by watching TV, reading the newspaper or reminiscing about past activities.
Royal Wedding Celebrations
Residents gathered in the lounge to watch the royal wedding on TV. Everyone had hats to wear and flags to wave and our Head Chef prepared a cold buffet for all to enjoy. Our Receptionist, Alex, made some delicious cakes, which the residents really enjoyed.
Darts Tournament
We hosted our first darts tournament recently, and our winner was Margaret, who finished with x3. Everyone really enjoyed playing, so we're going to make it a regular activity.
Singalong Session
Len and Dorothy have been enjoying recent singalong sessions with Lyn, the daughter of a resident.
Open Day
On 21st April, we hosted an open day and were visited by Oreo & Friends. Residents and visitors really enjoyed the hands-on experience. These are just a few of the animals that we had a chance to meet; the silver fox was just amazing.
