Activities at Magnolia Court Care Home
Our Activities Coordinators work as a team by involving staff and relatives in the activities sessions. They implement and plan activities tailored to residents' likes, dislikes, beliefs and life stories. Lots of people choose to place loved ones in Magnolia Court because of our reputation for hosting great activities all year long!

I joined Barchester in December 2019 as an Activities assistant and in February 2022 I became the Activities Lead at Magnolia Court Care Home. I am passionate about my role at Magnolia Court, I am a people person and nothing makes me happier than putting a smile on our Residents faces. It is a joy to work with such a great team, I am very happy to be a part of team Magnolia and look forward to meeting you soon!

London Children Ballet
We were lucky enough for the London Children Ballet to visit Magnolia Court again. It was a great opportunity for us to celebrate the birthdays of our residents born in February. Everyone had a wonderful afternoon and we are hoping they will be able to visit us again soon.
Folklore Dancing Afternoon
Magnolia hosted a lovely Portuguese folklore dancing afternoon. We travelled around Portugal through the songs and dances. Everyone had a great time!
Just Like Home
At Magnolia we want residents to feel like they're right at home. That's why we're always happy for them to help us with the domestic tasks, such as laundry folding, laying the tables and polishing the dishes.
Nursery Visit
The children from Montessori Nursery join us monthly to visit the residents and participate in some activities, such as reading stories and singing nursery rhymes.
Birthday Celebrations
Bill and Milton had a wonderful birthday party on Saturday, and were joined by friends and family members to celebrate.
