Life at Magnolia Court Care Home

Nurses Day Thank You

A big thank you to our nurses this International Nurses Day. This is an opportunity to remind ourselves of the amazing contribution our nurses make and to celebrate their achievements. We are enormously proud of the nursing team at Magnolia Court Care Home. Their passion for the job and commitment to ensuring Residents have the very best care inspires us on a daily basis. I would like to take this opportunity to thank every member of our nursing team for the amazing work they do each and every day.

Purim Day

Magnolia would like to thank the local Jewish community for their visit on Purim Day. The residents loved the funny and colourful look of the girls. Purim is all about the celebration of happiness. We would like to wish all our residents, relatives and staff a Purim Sameach.

London Children's Ballet

The London Children's Ballet put on a performance at Magnolia Court about Sarah, a sensible and wealthy girl, who was sent to a boarding school by her widowed father. The head teacher was cruel with her and greedy. Later on, Sarah discovered that she inherited a diamond mine from her dad, and her life completely changed.

Residents had lots of fun watching the show.

Flower Power

In the Winter, the Magnolia activities team are very keen to make the days bright. The flower arranging session put a smiles on everyone's face. Thank you, Ursula!

In Memory Of

Bill, our Resident Ambassador, was delighted to light a candle at Marylebone  Parish Church in memory of his wife. Bill also said a prayer and came back home with a better spirit.

Christmas Party

Magnolia had a fantastic Christmas party, a Spectacular Christmas pantomime was booked and the police community made it more special by sharing the event with us. Our residents and relatives enjoyed it so much and thanked the home for organising this wonderful show.
