Activities at Brampton View Care Home

Activities are the cornerstone of a wholesome home experience, and our Activities Coordinators are always putting their creative minds to the test by organising new and exciting social events for residents to partake in. Of course, we take into account the likes and dislikes of those we support, so if someone doesn’t feel like trying something new, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests. For the people who may just prefer some peace and quiet instead, we also offer one-to-one time that can be enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee or just a simple chat – whatever they desire.

Knit and Natter Club

Last week we saw our biggest knit and natter group yet at Brampton View ! It was great to see our families, friends and team get involved. Little did we know how well our fellow residents could knit.

We have decided over the next period that we are going to design an art project with our creations from the knit and natter club.  We look forward to sharing our creation!

Love is in the air at Brampton

We began the day with Fiona H coming in at 11am and serenading the residents with some fabulous music, followed by a Valentines themed lunch!! We then held our own Valentine disco throughout the day before finishing the evening by inviting the public to come have a valentines meals to support those who may be living alone.

The turn our was amazing and we are so pleased that we had booking for people to come have dinner with us!!!

Fun with the little ones!!

Our incredible local nursery took their time to join in this week with one of many events !! However, our residents did not expect to have fun like this !!!

The laughing, squeaking and noise that was made throughout this activity was just hilarious. Thank you little ones for always making a difference and making our residents smile.
