Collingtree Park Care Home in Northampton

Collingtree Park is a purpose-built residential care home, specifically designed to provide excellent residential and nursing care to older people, including individuals living with dementia. Alongside this, we offer respite services to provide relief for carers or a break from day-to-day life. Our motivated team focus on the individual needs of residents with personal care plans for each person in the home. Family and friends are welcome anytime to our home and to our monthly family meetings, where all ideas and suggestions are enthusiastically received.

The home is built on two levels, with ample parking to the front and landscaped gardens to the rear, accessible to residents for our summer activities. Major refurbishments at the home have seen a bright new reception area, perfect for socialising or taking part in one of our many daily activities. Our beautiful dining room is a wonderful place to enjoy a home-made lunch and our bedrooms are comfortable, tastefully decorated, and all furnished with en-suite facilities. Why not take a virtual tour to see our brand-new look?

The home is conveniently located close to junction 15 off the M1, and only a few miles away from all the amenities Northampton has to offer. We welcome visitors at any time and are happy to offer helpful advice if we can, so please feel free to call us or to drop in.

Debbie Willetts

Head of Memory Lane

I have worked for Barchester since 1999. My aim is to deliver exceptional care to residents and inspire my team of dedicated carers to achieve the same exceptional high standards.

One thing that I feel is really important is offering residents a lot of personal choices; I feel that Collingtree Park is their home, so they have the right to choose what goes on here. I'm hands-on and like to spend as much time as possible with the people I care for. I also enjoy getting to know residents' families and provide them with support when they need it.

Activities Team

As a team, we are very passionate about improving the quality of life for the residents who live here at Collingtree Park.

We have relaunched the 'Life Histories' project, which has been a huge success, and we have been awarded a 'Best Practice' recommendation for our work. Life Histories has helped us learn more about the individual residents we care for, and this not only aids us with the improvement of our person-centred care, but is a great way to reminisce on a one-to-one level.

In 2018, we opened our ‘Village Life’ room on Memory Lane, which was featured in the local newspaper. We also launched our Memory Café, which is hosted in our Village Life room on the first Thursday of every month.

We have many upcoming projects at Collingtree Park and can't wait to share them with you!

Maintenance Manager

I began working at Collingtree Park as a Maintenance Assistant in October 2014; I become the Head of Maintenance here in December 2014. My main responsibility is to keep the home in full working condition and in compliance with Barchester Policies.

You will often see me burrowing around my workshop/office in our  Memory Lane community preparing for my next job. Sometimes I go unnoticed whilst I’m tweaking the home into fine tune.  In  my spare time I enjoy watching and playing football, swimming and cycling.
