Collingtree Park Care Home
Collingtree Park Care Home in Northampton
Collingtree Park is a purpose-built residential care home, specifically designed to provide excellent residential care to older people, including individuals living with dementia. Alongside this, we offer respite services to provide relief for carers or a break from day-to-day life. The home is conveniently located close to junction 15 off the M1, and only a few miles away from all the amenities Northampton has to offer. We welcome visitors at any time and are happy to offer helpful advice if we can, so please feel free to call us or to drop in.
Dementia Care
Collingtree Park also has a dedicated Memory Lane Community that provides a safe, homely environment for people living with dementia, which has been designed following these guidelines ensuring the care we provide supports residents’ freedom of choice. We aim to maintain their life-skills, improving their self-esteem and helping them to maintain and develop their independence while they are living with us.
Staff undertake specialist dementia care training developed by our team of Dementia Care Specialists and academic partners, the Centre for Dementia Research at Leeds Beckett University. Together they ensure our training programmes are informed by the very latest thinking. We ensure that the people we support feel comfortable and safe in their surrounding environment, helping ensure they live life with dementia to the full.
Choosing a care home for a loved one or friend who may be experiencing dementia can be difficult and we have created a guide to showcase how we ‘Enrich the lives of people living with dementia’ in our care home.
Our motivated team focus on the individual needs of residents with personal care plans for each person in the home. Family and friends are welcome anytime to our home and to our monthly family meetings, where all ideas and suggestions are enthusiastically received.
The home is built on two levels, with ample parking to the front and landscaped gardens to the rear, accessible to residents for our summer activities. Major refurbishments at the home have seen a bright new reception area, perfect for socialising or taking part in one of our many daily activities. Our beautiful dining room is a wonderful place to enjoy a home-made lunch and our bedrooms are comfortable, tastefully decorated, and all furnished with en-suite facilities.

Our Team

Natalie Norman
Hello. I’m Natalie and I have worked at Collingtree Park since 1997 when I joined as an occasional care assistant. Since then I have been promoted through several roles including Senior Carer and Home Trainer. I became Deputy Manager in 2013 and am proud to have been the General Manager since 2018. I strive to maintain and exceed the high standards of quality and care we all aim for at Collingtree Park and I use all my years of experience to ensure this. Having previously been a Home Trainer I believe it is very important to give every team member the knowledge, skills, confidence and support they need and deserve in their roles. I get to know every resident well, including their care needs and preferences, so that we provide a personalised service to them and their families.
