Activities at Ashchurch View Care Home
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Musical Sessions
Residents had a great time at our musical session recently. One of our residents loved singing ''we'll be coming round the mountains'' in her cowboy hat.
Musical Movement
Residents enjoyed a Musical Movement session with Sue. They used various instruments to move around and become more active.
Puppet Show
Residents enjoyed a live puppet show. It was a unique performance and we can't wait for him to return.
Musical Moments
We invited 2 musicians into the home to put on a piano and violin performance together for residents. It was a lovely afternoon of classical and Christmas music.
Christmas Cake Competition
Our Head Chef spent many hours perfecting her cakes and arranging different scenes for the Barchester Christmas Cake Competition. Her creations were later put on display in the home for others to see. We are eagerly awaiting the results and are very please with her hard work.
