Activities at Trinity Manor Care Home

Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Spotted!

Look who we spied recently, out in our cafe area enjoying a lovely afternoon of dominoes recently...

Completely spontaneously and of their own accord, these lovely ladies, comprising of Pat, Doreen & Freda, decide to join together for a little afternoon of spotted fun!

These are the things that make us smile

Brain Games & Sherry

Our residents love nothing more than gathering together for a few brain games as we get nearer to lunchtimes here in the home...

So recently, Activities Co-ordinator, Laura worked our residents hard to earn their pre-lunch tipple of a glass of sherry.

Working as a team, Laura wrote on the whiteboard the letters of the alphabet and then asked the residents to name flowers starting with each letter - simple! Or is it?

Trust us when we say there are one or two letters of the alphabet that really had us stumped!

They then moved on to fruit & veg categories...

Finishing off with a Sherry, everyone was very happy with all their efforts - WELL DONE FOLKS!

Delighted Diners

We are very pleased to announce that as of last week, we have now launched our beautiful top floor dining room...

We have been working very hard with our amazing Chef, Stuart and his team, to finally open up the last piece of the Trinity Manor puzzle, allowing our residents to truly enjoy a relaxing, eating environment with some delicious food, now available on our top floor (which also offers some stunning views!).

With our Senior General Manager, Sohail, on hand along with Chef, Stuart, to welcome everyone to their newly operational dining room, residents were also delighted to be greeted by the lovely Elizabeth, who offered everyone a glass of bubbles to celebrate and toast the special occasion!

We say 'Cheers!' to that!!!

Thank you to all who helped to make this occasion an extra special one for our top floor residents.

Autumn Colours

The summer may now be nothing but a memory from yesterday, but here in the Trinity Manor Garden it has never looked more stunning...

From the tree by sign that welcomes you into our car park, to the piles of autumn leaves and even some beautiful, velvety flowers, there is lots and lots of vibrant, rich, intense colours to be found!

If you are planning to come and see us in the next few weeks, why not pop outside and take in some of nature's stunning beauty that surrounds us?

We are so very lucky!

Good Sports

Up on Memory Lane recently, we managed to capture a frenzy of sporting action as the residents got involved with some very active games to help them keep fit in-between Craig's Sit and Strengthen classes!

We are sure Craig will be very proud of you all for keeping the movement going!

Celebrating Success!

We are celebrating with Sohail, our Senior General Manager, who has now recently won the accolade of Divisional General Manager of the Year!

This is a VERY proud moment, not just for Sohail, but for the entire team here at Trinity Manor...

We are cheering loudly behind you, Sohail, as we eagerly watch & wait to see if you will become Barchester's overall winner, which will be announced at a special awards ceremony, for which the home will be part of in their lounges as we watch on a special live link.

This is so very much deserved and we cannot tell you how proud we are to have you steer our ship!

GOOD LUCK SOHAIL!!!

Sohail joins our existing Divisional Health & Safety Champion, Phill Sandford, who will be joining Sohail at tomorrow's event and for whom we will be cheering VERY loudly indeed for them both!

What an incredible achievement to have not one, but TWO divisional winners!

GO TEAM TRINITY MANOR!!!!
