Activities at Threshfield Court Care Home

Here at Threshfield Court, we aim to tailor the activities to meet the needs of individual residents, the communities within the home and the home as a whole. We have regular, structured activities such as visits from Music for Health, specialist armchair exercise facilitators, local musicians and a growing team of volunteers, including our local clergy. We also have time for arts and crafts, all sorts of games, music, poetry and lots more. We are pretty good at being spontaneous too!

Royal Wedding Celebrations

We celebrated the royal wedding in style with lots of drinks and many sat and watch the ceremony on the big screen.

International Nurses' Day

International Nurses' Day

Threshfield Court hosted a celebration day for Nurses to recognise all the hard work that they do every day. Thank you!

Out & About

Out & About

We took a trip out out on the minibus to Ilkley with some residents and, as you can see, they really enjoyed it. Ilkley was the finishing point for the Tour De Yorkshire, so the area was decorated with bright bunting and all the shop windows had paintings of bikes in them. It was really fun to ride out.

Preparing for Open Day

Preparing for Open Day

We have had another lovely week here at Threshfield court. We have been busy organising our open day on the 21st April. We'll have Liam King singing for us in the morning and the local ukulele band in the afternoon. We are planning on having a lovely buffet lunch and have invited family and friends.

Proud to be rated 'Good'

Proud to be rated 'Good'

We are very happy to declare that we have been officially rated as 'Good' by the CQC following an inspection that occurred on 5th December 2017. The report was published on 2nd March 2018 and, as you can see, the staff were ecstatic.

Fun at Threshfield

Fun at Threshfield

We have had another lovely week here at Threshfield court.

We were joined by Angela from Music for Health and, as usual, many residents participated and were up dancing and singing away to the music.

We have been busy redoing our notice board on Memory Lane with an 'under the sea' theme.

We have also been out in the countryside on one of our minibus trips.
