Activities at Thistle Hill Care Home
Our activities team are great at building the activities programme around the likes and interests of the people we care for. Ensuring that our social events offer fun and adventure is part of the ethos of our home; it’s important that those we support can enjoy an active and social lifestyle. Of course, there will always be those who prefer peace and quiet, and in these instances, a cup of tea and a chat are always welcomed.

As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Thistle Hill Care Home
Summer BBQ
We recently hosted a fantastic summer BBQ that was open to everyone. We were joined by residents, staff, friends and family members, who all thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
Yeadon Farm
Residents and staff enjoyed a day trip out to Yeadon Tarn. Residents very much enjoyed their stroll around the lake, and finished off with a nice coffee.
Jazz Garden Party
Residents and staff enjoyed an awesome jazz-themed garden party in the glorious sunshine. Children from the local nursery visited as well to enjoy activities on the lawn.
International Nurses' Day
As a way to recognise all of the hard work that nurses in our home do, they all got a well-deserved pamper, along with a goodie bag.
Woodlands Walk

We hosted a garden party on Thursday 30th April. Everyone had a lot of fun and enjoyed the nice weather.
