Activities at Tandridge Heights Care Home
Our qualified and dedicated activities staff plan and implement all activities within the home. We try our best to arrange activities that reflect our residents interests and capabilities as best as possible, and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join with activities and events as often as they can. We try to keep our residents active and happy.
Our activities include trips to garden centres, pubs, the cinema or the local theatre. We have many fun games like carpet bowls, Play Your Cards Right or armchair exercises. There are many musical events, singalongs, garden parties and tea parties for everyone to enjoy as well!

I started at Tandridge Heights in 2020. Previous to this, I have been working as a carer sine 2010, which has helped me to understand the needs, wants and the individuality of all of our residents.
My main responsibility is provide a varied and engaging activities schedule every day for our residents; this helps to keep them involved in social and uplifting activities. We love to have parties to celebrate birthdays, national days and special occasions.

Life at Tandridge Heights Care Home
102nd Birthday Party
On June 6th, Tandridge Heights celebrated Rose's 102nd birthday. Rose moved last year to Tandridge from Swansea, Wales. We had a wonderful time with live music provided by Hugh, with delicious cakes and drinks. We wish Rose many happy returns and are looking forward to next year's party.
Emily Jackson Residents Visit Tandridge Heights
Emily Jackson Care Home residents visited Tandridge Heights for afternoon tea. We had a lovely afternoon with all of them and enjoyed lots of tea and cakes. It was nice to meet them and we hope to see them again very soon.
Gardening at Tandridge
Residents at Tandridge Heights had a wonderful time potting plants and flowers for our balcony. Even though the job was a little bit hard and messy, we all enjoyed it very much.
Out for Afternoon Tea
Tandridge Heights residents spent their afternoon in the beautiful Woldingham Garden Centre. We walked around looking at wonderful plants and flowers. At the end of our trip, we had cream tea in a newly renovated cafe.
Arts & Crafts
Tandridge Height's staff and residents spent all afternoon creating birthday cards for Barchester's Birthday Card Competition. We had lots of fun and enjoyed creating unique designs for this special occasion.
Sylvia Tyson's 103rd Birthday Celebrations
Residents at Tandridge Heights celebrated Sylvia Tyson's 103rd birthday.
Sylvia was surrounded by friends, family and staff during her special day.
We wish Sylvia all the best and hope for many birthdays to come.
