Activities at Southgate Beaumont Care Community

Our activities team are great at building the activities programme around the likes and interests of the people we care for. Ensuring that our social events offer fun and adventure is part of the ethos of our home; it’s important that those we support can enjoy an active and social lifestyle. Of course, there will always be those who prefer peace and quiet, and in these instances, a cup of tea and a chat are always welcomed.

Life at Southgate Beaumont Care Community

Summer Garden Party.

What a beautiful day it was on Saturday for our annual summer garden party.

With glorious sunshine, it was wonderful to finally welcome back residents and their families to enjoy the day together.

With entertainment from the brilliant Morris Tamir, belly dancing, a delicious bbq and so much fun and laughter it really was a special day.

Thank you to everyone who came along and helped raise funds for our Barchester Charitable foundation.

Pet therapy at Southgate Beaumont

The sun is shining and it's smiles all around! Especially when our favourite friend Toby pops in to say hello! We have pet therapy weekly here and it's lovely to see how so many residents respond to a cuddle with our fury friend.

He's certainly becoming a part of our Beaumont family!

Cream Tea time.

We never need an excuse to enjoy some cakes…but when it’s National Cream Tea day it’s a better reason than ever.

Residents indulged in some lovely home made scones with

lots of cream and jam!

Thank you to our chef Dan for treating us to such a delicious feast!

Singing at Southgate Beaumont.

What a treat we had on Friday, when the year 3 pupils from St Andrews school in Southgate performed a beautiful choir as part of their out and about project.

The children sang their hearts out and gave us such a fun filled performance.

Residents had a fantastic time dancing along to the music and it made everyone so happy.

Thank you St Andrews!

Come back soon

St Andrews Jubilee celebrations.

We had a very special afternoon yesterday after being invited to St. Andrews school in Southgate for their Jubilee celebrations. The sun was shining and we sat and enjoyed scones and jam before witnessing their outside disco and Jubilee hat competition.

We were also treated to a beautiful rendition of God save the Queen.

The sun was shining and it really was wonderful to see the children interacting with our lovely resident Jacky (who used to be a school teacher many years ago).

Thank you so much for inviting us!
