Activities at Southgate Beaumont Care Community
Our activities team are great at building the activities programme around the likes and interests of the people we care for. Ensuring that our social events offer fun and adventure is part of the ethos of our home; it’s important that those we support can enjoy an active and social lifestyle. Of course, there will always be those who prefer peace and quiet, and in these instances, a cup of tea and a chat are always welcomed.

Life at Southgate Beaumont Care Community
International Cheese Lover's Day
Residents had a lovely afternoon enjoying Cheese lovers day. With all of their favourite cheeses along with crackers, and washed down with a nice glass of wine! Everybody had a wonderful time!
Each resident discovered their own favourite combination of cheese, crackers and wine. Jacky's favourite....The bowl of pickled onions!
Windy City Weatherbirds
On Friday we were transported to Chicago and the 1930s Jazz era from a group called the Windy City Weatherbirds! We were treated to a wonderful mixture of songs that certainly lifted our spirits on a cold October morning. It was lovely to see residents tapping their feet and waving their hands to the music.
London Childrens Ballet
How lucky we were to have received such a stunning performance from the London Childrens Ballet. Residents were transported into the magical world of Anne of Green Gables as they danced across our spectacular lounge. One of our residents Barbara is an ex ballet dancer so she was sat centre stage to watch the performance.
Tottenham Hotspur foundation
Residents had a wonderful time with the Tottenham Hotspur foundation, who paid us a visit and brought a great deal of fun and energy into our afternoon! The sun came out which was perfect for some gentle exercise and a lovely stroll around the garden together.
Toby the dog!
Bernard is so happy that his wife Jeanie has now come to live with us at Southgate Beaumont. They like to sit together daily outside on the bench in the sun and chat away. Today they had to make room for an extra friend, Toby the dog!
Singing!
Helen is our Irish party animal here at Southgate. She loves to have a sing and a dance, so she was so happy when our friend and singer Pete Morton stopped by. Pete has a wonderful rapport with our residents and had everyone singing along to classic favourites. Helen is definitely his number one fan!
