Activities at Paternoster House Care Home
Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life.
Our specialist activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as possible, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible, and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join with activities and events as often as they can.

Hello, my name is Cathy and I'm the activities coordinator for Paternoster House. Living life to the full is my motto, and I wish to instill this in all our residents, whatever your ability there is something new to learn or try. Life is for enriching and enjoyment.

Polish and Pampers
Who doesn't love a bit of pampering?
Angela has been an 'angel' this week, giving our beautiful ladies some lovely hand massages, manicures and polish of their choice.
German Shepard Puppy Power
Our residents were thrilled to meet the gorgeous; 'Jean and Jack' German Shepherd pups courtesy of Performing Pets this week. The pair were so well-behaved, full of wriggles and snuggles as they visited our residents in their rooms, and communal areas. Thank you Performing Pets for another wonderful Animal Therapy session.

Happy St George's Day
The wonderful Jamie Callis - Solo Artist had us all swooning and swaying for St George's Day and he worked the room singing and dancing with our residents, staff, family and friends. We hope you all had a fabulous St George's day just like us.
Knit, Natter, Sew and Chatter
Our Knit, Natter, Sew and Chatter session at Paternoster House is growing in popularity. Yesterday one of lovely residents’ relatives; Christine and her friend joined us to knit along with the group.
Resident, Vera told us all about her career as a seamstress and having the honour of making her daughter’s wedding dress!
