Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Hello. I am Jackie, the Lead Activity Co-Ordinator at Moreton Hill. I have worked for Barchester for over 10 years. Now, together with my team and the staff at our beautiful home, our aim is to help all residents live life to the best they can by bringing meaningful and enriching activities into their lives.

Creating Christmas Table Decorations
Moreton Hill have had a fabulous few days of festivities. A big thank you to all the team for everything that has gone into the preparations and for those who have worked this weekend and will do this week. We have lots of wonderful photos to share over the coming days starting with our creative residents who put together floral displays for the Christmas tables.

Lizzy and Ruby made their Christmas visit to Moreton Hill specially dressed for the occassion. Every visit brings smiles and this last visit of the year was no exception. Thank you so much to Gaby for their regular visits we wish you all a very happy Christmas.
Happy 100th Birthday Ham
Happy 100th Birthday Ham. Moreton Hill's second 100th Birthday this month was again celebrated in style with a great 100 cake and with residents and staff, Ham very much wanted to share this special event with everyone. Moira wrote a special poem to mark the occassion. A wonderful day was enjoyed by all.
Courtyard Christmas Lights
The Moreton Hill court yard is looking very festive and by night the lights are beautiful and so many of our residents' rooms have this view.
Designing the Moreton Hill Christmas Cake
Residents selected the design for this year's Christmas cake and set to work creating. We have been adding plenty of sherry infect even the smell could make you feel merry! The traditional marzipan layer was added and then our Christmas gift was made!
Piping Around the Home
The sound of bag pipes echoed around Moreton Hill. What an absolute delight to have a piper playing tunes outside and around the home, this really was enjoyed by all the residents.
