Hello, my name is Sita. I have joined Barchester Healthcare in January 2023 as a Bank Nurse and was proud to be promoted to Peripatetic Deputy Manager in April 2025. I bring with me over 30 years of experience in the healthcare sector, including 18 years as a qualified nurse working across a variety of organisations. My passion for patient care and commitment to excellence have been central to every role I’ve undertaken.

Princess qualified as a nurse in the Philippines in 2015 and joined Barchester in 2021 as a registered nurse and was promoted to Senior nurse in 2023

Hello.  I am Jackie, the Lead Activity Co-Ordinator at Moreton Hill. I have worked for Barchester for over 10 years. Now, together with my team and  the staff at our beautiful home, our aim is to help all residents live life to the best they can by bringing meaningful and enriching activities into their lives.

Hi, I am Roger, an experienced Head of Maintenance with a strong background in ensuring nursing home facilities' safety, functionality, and comfort. 

I'm dedicated to maintaining a secure and welcoming environment for residents and staff, with expertise in repairs, preventive maintenance, and regulatory compliance.

Anne has been with us at Moreton Hill just over one year and she is loving her new role and involvement in the well-being of everyone in the home.

Roger joined us in 2021. Roger is very caring and kind with new residents. From Yorkshire, Roger enjoys a natter with his fellow residents.

Andreea was a qualified nurse in Romania, working towards completing the senior Program before starting her registration with NMC. Andreea loves working with elderly residents.

Hello,

My name is Lukasz and I am a part of the kitchen team here at Moreton Hill. I work as a Kitchen Assistant and, although I can be very busy, I really enjoy my job. I like seeing residents enjoy meals I helped prepared. 

Hello I am Sue and I have worked at Moreton Hill since January 2013.  Along with my team we are responsible for maintaining the high standards of cleanliness around the home and in-house laundry.  I love chatting to the residents as I go around the home.

Hello I am Michelle came to the UK in 2005 from Guyana which is the only English speaking country in South America. I qualified as a nurse in 1986 and have worked solely in the care environment working with residents with dementia and nursing needs.  I really enjoy working with the team here at Moreton Hill.

Hello, my name is Alison and I have been working at Moreton Hill since April 2025. I have over 15 years of experience work in health care; I used to work at neurological unit and at the hospice. It's lovely to work alongside the clinical team and also to interact with residents and their families, as well as my colleagues from other Barchester homes. I look forward to many years ahead in Moreton Hill.

Hello I am Stuart and I joined Moreton Hill in 2021 as Head Chef.  I have enjoyed spending time enhancing the food and beverage offering, working with residents to create new menus.  I am always happy to cater for individual needs and tastes.  I also enjoy working with the activities team to plan the catering for events.  There is always a warm welcome in our cafe with a range of drinks and a different home made cake daily.

Hi, I am Helen and I started at Moreton Hill in May 2005 as a Healthcare Assistant before being promoted to a Senior care assistant and eventually, in 2023,  as a Head of Housekeeping. 

I gained extensive experience in maintaining cleanliness, safety, and comfort in our home. I'm committed to providing a clean and hygienic environment that enhances the well-being of residents and staff.

Moira, originally from Cumbria, has been with us at Moreton Hill for over 10 years. Moira enjoys welcoming new residents and loves a chat.

I am a Care Practitioner and started with Barchester in October 2021. Working with Elderly residents is one of the most rewarding jobs I could ever want. I am supported to pursue a career and develop to enrich our resident's quality of care and lifestyle.

Hi, my name is Ellen. 

I began working in care over 30 years ago. My first job was in another Barchester home, but I eventually joined Moreton Hill in April 2025. In my private time I love spending time with my children and grandchildren. I enjoy travelling, walking, cinema and musicals. 

This is Colin's first job in care homes but he could not wish to work in a better place.
