Activities at Kingsland House Care Home
Kingsland House have a variety of activities that our residents help us choose. Celebrating Life in our home is jovial and fun and from our weekly delivered activity sheet, our residents can chose exactly what they want to join in with.
Our activities range from exercise classes, gardening, arts and crafts, games to food-fun clubs. We also offer our in house church services, our own home cinema, our mobile pub - The Kingsland Tavern, visiting Pat Dogs, musical entertainers, minibus outings, theme days and birthday celebrations. For those residents being nursed in their rooms we have one to one activities sessions.
At Kingsland House we believe that activities are hugely important to stimulate and uplift, and getting to know our residents interests and lifestyle choices assist our activities team in creating events and activities to suit their expressed wishes and capabilities. We also encourage our residents' families and friends to join in with as much as they can to make Kingsland House a loving family atmosphere.

Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Kingsland House Care Home
Local Church Carol Service
Our local church kindly held a Christmas Carol Service for residents of Kingsland House. They also invited children from their local Sunday School to come along, who were proud to hand our residents homemade Christmas cards, that they had made for us. Residents had a wonderful time and loved spending time with the children.
Fun with Matt from Exercise For All
Residents here at Kingsland House have had a fun and physical morning with Matt from Exercise For All. Matt had us all stretching and flexing and having really good fun and laughter at the same time. Exercise is good for everyone on so many levels, so we always look forward to visits from Matt.
Kingsland House Choir Performs For The First Time
Residents were so proud of themselves recently as, after many months of rehearsing, they put on their first official performance. The reaction was overwhelming as so many people came to watch them perform.
Much Loved Resident Celebrates Her 102nd Birthday
Betty was joined by her Son and all of her Kingsland House Family as she celebrated with a beautiful cake, decorations and an afternoon of singing with our entertainer, Tania.
30 Years of Barchester Care
A wonderful afternoon was had here at Kingsland House as we all celebrated in style and it was also a good opportunity for our residents and their families to meet our new Manager, Devendra Lallchand.
