Activities at Hazel Lodge Care Home

Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Sonia Teixeira

Activities Coordinator & Dementia Champion

I am thrilled to be part of the team at ‘Hazel Lodge’ and to use the large range of experience I have from within the care sector.

As the Activities co-ordinator I have a real passion for promoting individual well-being and life enrichment and work closely with residents and their families, planning activities and events that they would like to participate in.

Easter Celebrations

Family and friends joined us over the Easter weekend for our first ever egg hunt . Easter eggs were hidden around the home and gardens for people of all ages to find and by the squeals of delight I think we found them all.

Battle Foodbank Donation

We were delighted to present a cheque for £102 to Sally from the U3A Ukulele band as a donation to Battle Foodbank . Sally and the band regularly come along and play for us and in return the residents and team at Hazel Lodge fundraise to go to the charity of their choice . Well done Sally and the team.
