Activities at Hazel Lodge Care Home
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

I am thrilled to be part of the team at ‘Hazel Lodge’ and to use the large range of experience I have from within the care sector.
As the Activities co-ordinator I have a real passion for promoting individual well-being and life enrichment and work closely with residents and their families, planning activities and events that they would like to participate in.

As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Hazel Lodge Care Home
Professional Breakfast meeting
Calling all local businesses. We recently held our first monthly breakfast meeting here at Hazel Lodge. There was pastries a plenty and overflowing coffee for everyone. After such a great success we are looking forward to hosting our next one.
Care for the Carers
We recently invited our local care for the carers group into the home to support with some training for our staff. The work that they do in the community is so important and greatly appriecated in rural village like ours. We cant wait to invite them back with some more of their team to enjoy activities with everyone.
We have the keys.
The day has arrived. Caroline the General Manager finally got her hands on the keys to Hazel Lodge. The huge bunch were handed over by the builders McGoff construction to Caroline and the commissioning team. The home has now been transformed from a building site to a stunning new home. We can wait to welcome our new residents.
Tea and Tour Event
Community is at the heart of everything we do here at Hazel Lodge. Every week we host an event for our local community. It is a chance to pop in have a look around, sample some second to none hospitality from our catering team and also meet the team here. However our door is always open and that hospitality is always waiting too come and see for yourself.
One big team
As our new build project gets closer to completion, the builders and the staff here at Hazel Lodge have become a great team. With cups of tea on tap and biscuits a plenty. Its been a pleasure to watch it grow and develop every step of the way.
